EMPRESS® RESTORATIONS

There are a number of dental restorations that are important for the health and functionality of the natural teeth, including veneers, crowns, inlays, onlays, and bridges.  Having a sparkling smile can have a dramatic impact on an individual’s appearance and boost their self-confidence.  A world leader in dental ceramics, Empress® has been creating natural-looking restorations for almost two decades.

The strength, durability, and exceptional optical properties of Empress® veneers, crowns, onlays, overlays, dental bridges, are among the reasons why they are renowned all over the world.  There is no metal in any Empress® restoration. It is made up of inorganic material that is baked and cured at high temperatures in order to ensure it is completely metal-free.

What are the benefits of Empress® restorations over other restoration services?

It is the mission of Empress® to continually refine and enhance restorations so that they will appear natural and restore complete functionality to the teeth.

Traditional ceramic restorations were known for being brittle and were costlier to repair after they sustained damage as a result of their brittleness and high cost of repair.  Although this has been the case, Empress® has developed a highly durable and strong heat-pressed glass ceramic that is as strong as it is durable.  There are a number of factors that can be attributed to this, including the high shrinkage rate of leucite crystals, which is one of them that can contribute to this.  As a result of this shrinkage, compressive stress is created during the vitreous stage, resulting in the prevention of breakage and cracking.

Additionally, the veneer glaze and stain increase the strength of the veneer by as much as 50%.  The combination of these elements enables a thicker and more fracture-resistant restoration to be created.  There is a 100% chance that Empress® crowns will last for the first three years after being placed.  The result is fewer dental visits, less expense, and a sensational, comfortable smile.

Empress® restorations offer the following advantages:

  • It is biocompatible.
  • Ensure that other dentitions are not affected.
  • Contains no metal.
  • Looks natural.
  • Shades match those on the other teeth.
  • Effortless application process.
  • It has excellent polishing properties.
  • Translucency levels are available in many different levels.

How can Empress® products be used for restorations?

A number of natural-looking restorations have been created by Empress®, including:

Empress® Veneers – Ceramic and porcelain veneers are wafer-thin covers that fit permanently over natural teeth.  It is perfect for covering disfigured or stained teeth with Empress® veneers.  In addition to being stain and bacteria-resistant, they are strong and can be manufactured to match the color of the natural teeth.

Empress® Crowns – It is generally the case that these crowns will be placed after the completion of root canal therapy, or after the removal of decayed teeth.  It has been proven that Empress® crowns last longer than many other types of crowns, and can also be custom-matched exactly to the shade of the natural tooth.  There is no visible metal edge, only a sensational outcome.

Empress® Inlays/Onlays – There is a trend towards replacing traditional amalgam fillings with inlays and onlays at present.  It is unpleasant to look at amalgam and it is unhealthy for the body as well.  There are several benefits to using Empress® ceramic inlays and overlays, including their strength, health, and invisibility.

Empress® Bridges – As with all Empress® products, Empress® bridges offer a completely natural-looking alternative to dentures.  A metal bridge is often highly visible and makes the teeth look shorter as a result.  An Empress® bridge is almost impossible to detect, and it restores the smile’s symmetry and sparkle.
