however, it is important to check them for wear and chipping on a regular basis at the dentist.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Sealants are used for the following reasons:<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Children and teenagers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; In order to strengthen the bond between the sealant and the enamel surface, a special solution is applied to the enamel surface. It is then necessary to rinse and dry the teeth before they are placed into the mouth. In order to cover deep grooves or depressions in the enamel surface, a sealant material is carefully painted on to the enamel surface.
